Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and other specialists to convey intricate concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Review technical reports and proposals, suggesting revisions or modifications in approaches, scope, format, and risk management.
- Input subsurface logs into gINT and conduct technical reviews in accordance with QA-QC standards.
- Engage and communicate effectively with subcontractors, clients, and team members at all levels.
- Design, plan, and execute field exploration, testing, and instrumentation initiatives.
- Create engineering graphics utilizing various modeling data, GIS, 3D parametric modeling, and advanced processing for 3D imagery (including point clouds and digital terrain models).

- Conduct thorough environmental consulting and/or engineering tasks, which encompass planning, data assessment, reporting, supervising field personnel, and sample collection.
- Assist with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Review, evaluate, and interpret environmental or technical data, preparing summary reports.
- Support basic testing and coordinate sample delivery to external laboratories.
- Assist with geophysical surveys.
- Adhere to Shannon & Wilson's Quality Assurance policies.
- Promote and follow Health & Safety and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, Civil or Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or another Natural Science; Master’s Degree preferred.
- 0 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with mathematical terms and equations is preferred.
- Maintain corporate standards for report preparation and style.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, adjusting priorities as needed.
- Experience in performing soil index property laboratory testing is advantageous.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ESRI ArcGIS is required; knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.

- Expect extensive travel and year-round fieldwork, particularly during peak months, with working hours exceeding 40 per week and weekends as necessary.

- Depending on the applicant's education, experience, and alignment with the company culture and current business needs, an Entry-Level Environmental Consultant may be positioned at a Shannon & Wilson Professional I, II, III, or IV level.
