Since its inception, it has created memorable dining experiences through its seasonal menu, influenced by local farms and suppliers. Guests can choose between two unique dining options: the Tavern, which offers a casual à la carte menu, and the Dining Room, featuring fixed-price and tasting menus.

Position Overview:

The Bar Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of bar operations. This includes service management, menu innovation, staff development, bar upkeep, and administrative tasks such as inventory management, recipe costing, and scheduling. The Bar Manager will lead the bar team, ensuring a well-functioning and high-quality bar environment that fosters exceptional hospitality for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and sustain a beverage program that enhances quality and value, elevating the guest experience.
  • Implement and uphold efficient systems and procedures to boost productivity and profitability within the bar program.
  • Deliver comprehensive training and education to the service team, ensuring thorough knowledge of all beverage offerings to meet guest preferences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for POS systems, inventory, and beverage lists, ensuring team understanding.
  • Ensure the bar area is organized and clean, with all necessary supplies readily available.
  • Provide ongoing support to service staff and engage actively in the service cycle as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with all team members, ensuring effective communication during service periods.
  • Offer constructive feedback and guidance, focusing on excellence in hospitality and providing growth opportunities for team members.
  • Continuously seek internal and external opportunities to strengthen the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures, including DOL and Health Department regulations.
  • Monitor service quality to guarantee outstanding guest experiences in both the Tavern and Dining Room.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bar setting, with management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree or Certification in a Hospitality-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.
