Beverage Operations Manager Job Description

At Resorts Atlantic City, we are seeking a highly skilled Beverage Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bars and lounges, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our beverage programs are executed to perfection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of our bars and lounges, ensuring that all aspects of beverage service are executed to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement beverage programs that drive revenue growth and enhance the guest experience.
  • Train and develop our beverage team members, providing coaching and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
  • Manage inventory and control costs, ensuring that our beverage programs are profitable and efficient.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement beverage menus that complement our food offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards and liquor laws.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, including promotions, events, and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • College degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, with a focus on beverage operations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Knowledge of beverage operations and management, including inventory control, cost management, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and driving revenue growth.
