Division OverviewCrown's Beverage Division specializes in manufacturing a wide range of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, and teas. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our customers.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor II to join our team at our new manufacturing facility in Mesquite, NV. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and productivity, and leading a team of employees to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise activities of equipment and personnel to optimize Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Spoilage
- Communicate effectively with departments and shifts on changes to equipment, production schedules, and production problems
- Work with employees to identify and implement solutions to machinery and equipment problems
- Perform and facilitate on-the-job training and coaching of employees as needed
- Apply knowledge of various processes and production methods to improve plant production
- Manage machinery set-up and adjustment and inspect products to ensure compliance to standards
- Oversee quality and recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards
- Complete and administer necessary documentation, including production sheets, pallet ticketing, and process control sheets
- High School Education/GED
- Five to seven years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- At least three years of proven supervisory experience
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Bachelor's degree
- Packaging industry experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Effective leadership skills, including conflict resolution and communication
- Demonstrated employee relations skills and the ability to motivate people
- Excellent time management and project management skills
The Manufacturing Supervisor II will work in a plant environment and may be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting. The associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
