Job Summary

Maintain the integrity of cash operations in a fast-paced gaming environment. As a Cage Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately handling cash transactions, reconciling daily summaries, and maintaining a secure and accurate cash drawer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cash Handling: Count and reconcile cash, coins, and chips, as well as process personal, payroll, and traveler's checks.
  2. Account Verification: Check and verify customer account records to ensure accuracy and security.
  3. Bank Management: Maintain accurate records of assigned bank transactions and ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
  4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by performing transactions in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.
  5. Security and Compliance: Maintain a strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements and adhere to department policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of cash operations.
  6. Attention to Detail: Maintain excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and security in cage operations.
  7. Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
Customer Service Expectations
  • Have knowledge of facility events and special promotions to provide guests with accurate information.
  • Convey a consistently professional and friendly attitude while performing transactions.
  • Remain calm in stressful situations.
Physical Demands

The work requires long periods of standing, walking, and physical exertion, including lifting moderately heavy items (less than 30lbs). The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions.

Work Conditions

The work environment involves exposure to secondhand smoke in a casino. This is a 24-hour/7-day work environment with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
