Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing comprehensive refrigeration services, particularly in ammonia and freon systems, to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Interpret and analyze electrical schematics, piping isometrics, and equipment layouts.
  • Complete startup documentation, daily task logs, and necessary safety management system records accurately.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service requests for refrigeration systems.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of screw and reciprocating compressors, along with electrical and control systems troubleshooting.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines diligently.
  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Preferred: RETA certification.
  • Be available for after-hours emergency service calls as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in refrigeration service.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical capability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Ability to pass a physical examination and respirator fit testing.
  • Willingness to be on-call during nights and weekends as required.
  • Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and possess a strong work ethic.
