About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Laboratory Technician to join our team at Electrolux. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for providing development and test support for the robustness and quality of our refrigerator design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform experimental testing and validation activities to ensure compliance with relevant specifications and standards.
  • Design and build test fixtures, including fabrication, wiring, and PLC programming.
  • Record, analyze, and critically evaluate test results; prepare and review test reports.
  • Contribute to the development of test procedures and laboratory quality manual.
  • Collaborate with external institutes for certification and standardization activities.
  • Ensure compliance with work environment and safety regulations.
  • Support Product Development, Quality, and other Electrolux functions.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or electronics.
  • Previous experience as a lab technician in a R&D environment.
  • IT/Programming skills, including PLC controls and data acquisition.
  • Team-oriented with good verbal, written, and leadership communication skills.
  • Refrigeration experience preferred.
  • General mechanical and plumbing skills.
  • Electrical skills, including wiring, schematic reading, and controls.
  • Technical report writing skills.
  • High-level problem-solving and organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • Proficient with PC software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
