Position Overview

The Overnight Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a delightful experience for our members by delivering outstanding customer support to Planet Fitness members, potential members, and visitors. This role operates during the hours of 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Friday, and is a Full-Time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome members, potential members, and guests by providing exceptional service.
  • Manage all front desk activities, including but not limited to:
    • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Verifying IDs and scanning member barcodes into the system.
    • Facilitating new member registrations.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
  • Assist in updating member accounts as necessary.
  • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Club Manager when required.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Monitor safety and cleanliness throughout the club.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
  • Restock locker rooms with necessary supplies.
  • Report any damaged or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
  • Adhere to the 'Lost and Found Policy' by promptly turning in lost items to the Club Manager.
Qualifications
  • Preferred background in customer service.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
  • A strong passion for fitness and health.
  • Consistently positive and upbeat demeanor.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities; capable of interacting positively and professionally with members and colleagues, surpassing their expectations.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing and walking during shifts.
  • Regular communication with members in person and via phone.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Engage in cleaning with chemicals during shifts.
  • Sanitize equipment and frequently touched surfaces throughout the club.
  • Monitor the club and assist members throughout the shift.
