Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all cleaning assignments as directed by the supervisor, adhering to the established cleaning schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, restrooms, common areas, and service areas.
  • Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, washing, and disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and floors.
  • Polish and maintain the appearance of water fountains, mirrors, and furnishings.
  • Change and arrange decorative items as needed to ensure a tidy environment.
  • Clean windows, ledges, and vents to uphold a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Manage waste disposal and ensure proper replenishment of supplies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to maintain cleanliness in resident areas.
  • Conduct terminal cleaning procedures in vacated resident rooms, preparing them for new occupants.
  • Assist with special cleaning protocols as required.
  • Participate in quarterly inventory assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and residents.
