Job Title: Residential New Construction Foreman

R&R Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential New Construction Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our RNC department, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation operations, scheduling, and dispatch of our crews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the installation operations of the RNC department, including scheduling and dispatch of crews.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, keeping them informed of schedule and lead time.
  • Implement the training calendar and improve the efficiency of our installers.
  • Assist with annual performance reviews, merit pay raises, and discipline.
  • Oversee the field responsibilities of the RNC department.
  • Check the preliminary construction progress of all pending work.
  • Know the whereabouts and progress of the crew daily.
  • Complete all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
  • Ensure all new jobs are reviewed with the installer, check paperwork and time cards from previous days' jobs, and find any punch lists or uncompleted items.
  • Communicate with the field during the day as required to keep jobs on schedule.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge to HVAC Installer Helpers on proper skills and training for HVAC installation jobs.
  • Supervise the installation team to ensure high-quality and timely completions for all installations.
  • Return all builder and customer calls promptly, informing the RNC coordinator of any schedule changes, change orders, field directives, etc.
  • Maintain the highest level of standards for time management and quality completions.
  • Ensure material inventory and maintenance for vehicles is completed to company requirements.
  • Knowledge of pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, department operating procedures, and safety regulations sufficient to ensure that work complies with applicable law.
  • Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as required.
  • Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring more than satisfied customers.
  • Maintain a neat work area and inspect that area for cleanliness after completion of each job.
  • Convey a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving.
  • Maintain company vehicle, ensuring it is always clean on both the inside and the outside.
  • Help keep work in progress to a minimum by billing and completing projects promptly.
  • Return builder/customer calls promptly, resolving open issues in a fast/efficient manner.
  • Coordinate with vendors as needed regarding returns, warranty, delivery, etc.
  • Attend weekly RNC meetings, assist with billing & reviewing current team performance and setting goals, and implement change to grow the department and increase efficiency.
  • Continue to develop and implement labor-saving installation practices, challenging others within the department and company to do the same.
Requirements:
  • At least three years of experience in RNC installation.
  • At least one year of leading teams and jobs.
  • 06A Electrical License.
  • City of Spokane Gas License I or II.
  • Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
