Role Overview

The Global Account Executive Expert, referred to as the 'Managing Partner (MP)', serves as the primary global account leader for designated Strategic Customers. The MP is responsible for overseeing comprehensive customer engagement, focusing on the adoption of innovative solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their journey with SAP.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the strategic engagement with customers, driving innovation and growth across Software, Cloud, and Services.
  2. Develop and execute a clear Account Plan in collaboration with the Market Unit and the extended Virtual Account Team (VAT).
  3. Establish a multi-year roadmap with customers, concentrating on innovation and transformation initiatives.
  4. Facilitate a governance model that aligns all stakeholders around strategic objectives.
  5. Shape the client's digital transformation vision and roadmap, guiding SAP's execution in alignment with customer goals.

Performance Metrics

The MP's success is measured by growth in new bookings for cloud software and services, retention of existing revenue, and improvement in customer satisfaction metrics over time.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in Sales or Consulting within complex business software or IT solutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry-specific expertise.
  • Proven experience in Large Account Management and leading account teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP's offerings, including Services and Support.
  • Experience in strategic planning and resource management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and local language at a business level.
