Responsibilities:

Job Description:
Establish safety as a core value within the facility and utility teams.

Collaborate with team members to implement safety measures and ensure compliance through regular inspections.

Conduct investigations for accidents or near misses, identifying training needs to foster a 'zero harm' environment. Provide effective leadership for the maintenance of plant buildings and utility support systems.

Build relationships with all departments, acting as the primary contact for facility-related needs and translating them into actionable solutions. Manage productivity in facility and utility areas, addressing daily operational challenges.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and corporate directives related to facility and utility operations. Oversee maintenance operations for all plant buildings and grounds.

Responsible for planning and directing maintenance staff, as well as managing monthly maintenance expenditures.

Develop and enhance preventive maintenance programs to ensure efficient facility operations.

Conduct regular inspections of utility systems, ensuring documentation of maintenance activities. Prepare cost estimates for safety programs, repairs, and upgrades, leading projects from design to implementation.

Monitor energy usage related to facilities and utilities, providing insights on trends and serving as the liaison with local utility providers. Utilize the plant's CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting.


Qualifications:

A four-year degree in a technical field with 2-3 years of industrial facility management experience, or a two-year degree with 5 years of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience is required.

Experience managing large-scale projects and vendor relations is essential. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are necessary, along with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.

Knowledge of industrial systems, including HVAC and compressed air systems, is required. Familiarity with Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO) and fire protection systems is a plus.

Proven leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential, along with strong communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels.

Experience with CMMS and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are necessary. Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD is preferred.
