Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual with exceptional multitasking abilities to oversee business development efforts. This role involves driving the business development strategy, capture planning, and proposal lifecycle to secure business with Government clients by leveraging expertise throughout the business development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the capture process for complex and technical bids, ensuring a thorough understanding of client requirements and purchasing behaviors.
- Develop innovative technical solution options and assemble a high-performing team to achieve client success through successful bids.
- Conduct market intelligence, client assessments, and strategic planning to enhance opportunity portfolios and pipeline.
- Foster and manage relationships with key stakeholders, keeping the business leadership informed and advancing strategic partnerships.
Capture Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the complete capture lifecycle for assigned opportunities, including proposal development and after-action evaluations.
- Ensure comprehensive price-to-win (PTW) analysis is performed and establish PTW targets.
- Formulate final win themes, strategies, value propositions, and differentiators.
- Coordinate the development of technical and management solutions while continuously assessing competitor capabilities through SWOT analysis.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading large-scale captures and developing intricate technical solutions for Government bids exceeding $100M.
- Proven track record in managing complex solutions and capture efforts for civilian, defense, and intelligence community clients.
- Experience in executing all phases of large capture efforts, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, and competitive analyses.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage capture budgets effectively and demonstrate leadership throughout the capture process.
Additional Qualifications:
- Expertise in developing and maintaining effective business relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey complex activities to capture teams for efficient execution.
