Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a Contract Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to youth in residential treatment settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the mental health needs of youth
- Provide clinical supervision to behavioral health staff to ensure high-quality care
- Evaluate and monitor mental health clinical services to ensure they meet professional standards
- Provide clinical treatments services to youth, including individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducational programming
- Provide consultation and/or crisis intervention for youth who present emergent issues that pose a risk to themselves or others
- Provide clinical education, consultation, and leadership for staff who work in secure residential facilities
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university
- Current Georgia license to practice psychology (temporary, provisional, or permanent)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with justice-involved youth in residential treatment settings
- Experience providing clinical supervision to treatment staff
- Training and experience in trauma-focused interventions
