About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist III to join our team at Riverview Psychiatric Center, a leading provider of mental health services in Maine. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing a range of psychological services to adult inpatients, including group and individual psychotherapy, psychological testing, treatment program development, and staff consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychological services to adult inpatients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to address the complex needs of patients with severe personality disorders and/or forensic treatment settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment outcomes
  • Conduct psychological testing and assessments to inform treatment planning and monitor patient progress
  • Provide staff consultation and training to enhance the skills and knowledge of clinical staff
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in psychology from an accredited institution
  • Two years of experience in psychology, including one year of internship or postdoctoral training
  • Licensed as a Psychologist by the Maine State Board of Examiners in Psychology
