Position Overview: We are in search of a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) who possesses expertise in conducting evaluations and reviews related to PTSD for Veteran disability claims. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the DSM-5 criteria for PTSD and be familiar with the distinct challenges that Veterans encounter.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive PTSD evaluations for Veterans, which include interviews, psychological assessments, and the analysis of medical documentation.
  • Draft detailed reports that encapsulate findings in alignment with VA standards.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure prompt and precise submission of necessary documentation.
  • Stay informed about the latest VA disability claim procedures and PTSD diagnostic standards.
  • Provide expert testimony or clarification when required.

Qualifications:

  • PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted license to practice psychology.
  • Experience in conducting PTSD assessments and a solid understanding of DSM-5 criteria.
  • Prior experience working with Veterans or in a trauma-focused clinical environment is preferred.
  • A private office or clinic space is necessary for conducting evaluations.
