We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmologist to join our team at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG). As a specialist in Comprehensive Ophthalmology, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with subspecialists within Kaiser and the Academic community.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care. As an Ophthalmologist with MAPMG, you will be responsible for treating a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal diseases. You will also have the opportunity to perform surgical procedures and work closely with our team of subspecialists to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Treat approximately 21 patients per day in 20-minute appointments
  • Spent approximately 2.5 days per month in the operating room (varies by patient load)
  • Collaborate with subspecialists within Kaiser and in the Academic community
  • Perform surgical procedures and work closely with our team of subspecialists
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Work visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants
