The Manufacturing Engineering Resource Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the effective distribution of manufacturing resources for the creation and upkeep of process planning. This position is accountable for the management of Bill of Materials (BOM) consumption, the development of Computer Aided Planning (CAP) routings, and the initiation of manufacturing item orders within the Bell business systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret various engineering documents, models, BOMs, technical specifications, and quality documents to execute assigned tasks.
  • Ensure precise BOM management and consumption for manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate work sequence documentation and CAP routings.
  • Create manufacturing item orders/requests, including but not limited to NC Programs, tools/fixtures, and gauges.
  • Offer process planning support to manufacturing operations through production order maintenance and tool maintenance requests.
  • Generate and maintain relevant dimensional charts, manufacturing instructions (both text-based and 2D format), material operation diagrams, and ply tables as necessary.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Loft, Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing, and Planning processes.
  • Support producibility assessments as needed.
  • Maintain records and schedules of assigned work, adhering to company cost control standards, schedules, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as directed by management.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to mentor and validate Production Engineering tasks.
  • Participate in training and complete competency-based assessments as required to stay current with technological advancements.

Educational Requirements:

• A minimum of two (2) years of college education or two (2) years of experience in the aircraft industry, or completion of a related Bell apprentice program. Demonstrated capability to perform essential functions related to GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
