Position Overview
This role involves supporting training initiatives, food programs, special events, and account openings in collaboration with account chefs and team members.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the training of Cafe Managers for all culinary team members.
2. Develop and enhance menus that align with Compass Group standards and meet client expectations.
3. Focus on ingredient selection, recipe documentation, and portion control to improve production efficiency.
4. Input data and track usage within culinary management systems, including Menu Management and Allergen Software.
5. Review recipes submitted by campus chefs for nutritional and culinary accuracy.
6. Embrace and apply the Compass Group Wellness Principles as a leader.
7. Identify and implement culinary training as needed.
8. Collaborate with the campus Executive Chef and the onsite Registered Dietitian to enhance menu transparency for guests.
9. Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations as evidenced by audits.
10. Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including incident reporting.
11. Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs as appropriate.
12. Generate reports demonstrating compliance with Cafe Manager standards.

Qualifications:
- Culinary Degree or equivalent four years of culinary development experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant culinary experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
- ServSafe Certification.
- Comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with P&L accountability and experience in contract-managed services is advantageous.
