About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our team at Vanguard. As a Data Governance Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and overseeing day-to-day management of data governance policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Data Governance Policies: Create and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of investment data.
  • Manage Data Ownership and Access: Oversee the management of data ownership and access, ensuring that data is properly classified and that access is granted based on business need.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Compliance: Develop and maintain data quality and compliance metrics, and work with stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and other data governance teams, to ensure that data governance policies and procedures are aligned with business objectives.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data governance, and apply this knowledge to improve data governance policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with data governance tools and technologies, such as Collibra, Highlander, and AWS Cloud.
