Position Overview

EECU is seeking a Financial Center Consultant II who will inspire enthusiasm for EECU's offerings, ensuring that members receive optimal solutions tailored to their financial needs.

Our commitment to exceptional service begins with understanding our members' requirements. This role involves rotating responsibilities within the branch to assist members with various products and services. As a primary point of contact, you will guide members through their financial journeys by providing advice, engaging in suggestive selling, and facilitating the setup of new accounts.

The Financial Center Consultant II will conduct in-depth consultative sessions, performing financial assessments to identify opportunities for enhancing member relationships. You will leverage internal reports to identify cross-selling opportunities as directed by management. The majority of your time will be dedicated to platform operations, including account openings and loan processing. We are looking for individuals who take pride in representing EECU and find fulfillment in fostering long-term relationships with our members.

Compensation: This is an hourly position with monthly performance incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve established goals in loan production.
  • Demonstrate strong cross-selling and referral capabilities.
  • Deliver outstanding member experiences through personal interactions, whether at the teller line or in a personal banking capacity.
  • Provide comprehensive service and sales experiences that consistently exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Handle a variety of member service tasks, including the opening of business and consumer loans/accounts, while resolving operational issues and performing teller functions.
  • Proactively support marketing initiatives within the branch.
  • Build and maintain exceptional rapport with members through exemplary service.
  • Manage lobby coverage, serving as a concierge for the branch, greeting members, answering calls, and directing inquiries to appropriate staff.
  • Comply with all relevant Federal and State regulations, including those related to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a retail or financial setting, emphasizing exceptional service and rapport-building with members/customers.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including platform and teller functions, is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills that facilitate comfortable interactions with members.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and professionalism, demonstrating a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Possess strong listening skills, approachability, problem-solving abilities, and empathy.
  • Relevant computer proficiency, along with solid mathematical and written communication skills.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Availability required during the hours of 8:30 AM - 6:15 PM, Monday - Friday, and 8:45 AM - 1:15 PM on Saturdays.
  • Starting pay is $17, commensurate with experience.
