Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Patient Services Representative. This position involves managing patient registration, facilitating check-in processes, and providing clinical support. A key responsibility will be overseeing the prior authorization procedures to guarantee that patients receive accurate information regarding their imaging insurance coverage and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register patients, ensuring accurate collection of payments and insurance details
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and relay essential information to patients
  • Confirm insurance coverage and benefits for imaging services
  • Initiate and manage prior authorization requests
  • Maintain precise patient records and ensure effective communication with both staff and patients
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in customer service is essential; administrative or medical office experience is a plus
  • Prior authorization experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Exhibit integrity, commitment to service excellence, and teamwork
  • Demonstrate efficiency in a clinical environment
