Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Chief Medical Officer to provide leadership for medical practice and delivery of clinical services to support the mission of the Health, Well-being & Safety organization and the University of California, Riverside.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership for medical practice and delivery of clinical services to support the academic and broad educational goals of University of California, Riverside students.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director of Holistic Health Operations to develop and implement strategies for high-quality, cost-effective, and accessible primary care, specialty care, ancillary medical, pharmaceutical, and health education services.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and achieve organizational goals.
  • Supervise and mentor medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of healthcare delivery.
Requirements
  • Current work authorization in the United States.
  • Doctoral degree in medicine or a related field.
  • Current licensure and certifications as required by the state of California.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements. We offer a competitive salary range of $176,700 - $362,900 annually, with an expected pay scale of up to $269,800 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
