PG&E is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief, Strategy to join our Wildfire, Emergency & Operations (WEO) team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to mitigate wildfire risk, improve electric reliability, and support partner organizations in delivering a continuously improving Wildfire Strategy and Wildfire Mitigation Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and collaborate with senior leaders, business partners, and external stakeholders on strategic opportunities and advancement of WEO's programs and mission.
  • Drive senior leader partnerships across lines of business and key departments to develop long-term strategic plans that mitigate risk while building upon market trends and opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations of partnership agreements and commercial transactions.
  • Partner with various lines of business to ensure that plans and programs support strategic, financial, operational plans and goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in areas such as electric construction, maintenance, service planning, compliance, financial planning, or quality control/assurance.
  • 3 years leadership or team lead experience.
  • Desirable: Master's degree in relevant field, experience in energy industry, experience with strategic planning, and knowledge of science and engineering principles.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $193,000 - $329,000.
  • A hybrid work arrangement with the opportunity to work from your remote office and assigned work location based on business need.
