Role Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time on-site position responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and ensuring effective sales operations. In this role, you will act as the sales and procurement expert for NexPlus Indiana Corporation, particularly as we prepare for our initial product launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate sales projections and production goals as we gear up for the product launch.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to enhance sales and expand our customer base.
- Address pricing issues, manage delivery of finished products, and resolve customer complaints.
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of NexPlus Indiana Corporation products to potential customers to drive future sales.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and monitor the delivery of finished products.
- Oversee the inventory of raw materials to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Be open to cross-training in various aspects of the procurement process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in sales.
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in common software applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English, with the ability to effectively engage with Korean-speaking customers.
- Experience collaborating with freight forwarders to facilitate efficient shipping and resolve logistical challenges.
- Strong critical thinking skills and effective management of production inventory.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to following all applicable housekeeping and safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes in sectors such as automotive, medical devices, or machining.
- 7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, sales, or procurement within a high-tech environment.
- Proven track record of achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts in both Korean and English.
- Formal sales experience and project leadership experience are advantageous.
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
