Position Overview:

The Warehouse Logistics Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily logistics operations within our organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of inventory and the coordination of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt of daily shipments and oversee inventory processing through the designated software systems.
  • Conduct inspections of incoming shipments to identify any damages or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of parts, materials, and equipment allocated for HVAC projects and maintenance services.
  • Develop and implement delivery schedules based on customer requirements and operational demands.
  • Facilitate transfers between various operational sites as needed.
  • Handle parts warranties and returns with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Support warehouse drivers with delivery tasks as necessary.
  • Coordinate job deliveries with drivers and field team members to ensure timely execution.
  • Update records in the inventory management system regularly.
  • Oversee the ordering and inventory management of maintenance materials.
  • Assist in procuring tools for new employees and addressing new tool requirements.
  • Manage refrigerant inventory and ensure compliance with storage regulations.
  • Maintain and secure the inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Administer the uniform program for field personnel.
  • Oversee the shipping and receiving processes for parts and materials.
  • Initiate the return process for unused parts and equipment to vendors.
  • Compile and manage tool lists for job site deliveries.
  • Organize tools and equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Perform general warehouse duties and maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
  • Assist in loading and unloading operations safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment to safety practices.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Possession of a DOT Medical Card.
  • EPA Refrigerant Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate geographical locations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Capability to lift heavy objects as required.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to company values.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular physical activity, including sitting, walking, and using hands for various tasks. Employees must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform duties in both office and warehouse environments.

Work Environment:

Employees will work in typical warehouse conditions and may frequently visit field sites as part of their responsibilities.
