As a Project Engineer at NexCore Group, you will play a critical role in the success of our healthcare facility development projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting D&C Managers in establishing project objectives and procedures
  • Processing schedule updates of construction projects and determining administrative requirements
  • Informing supervisors promptly of any construction schedule changes and working closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
  • Overseeing project databases and scheduling of projects
  • Managing compliance with standards and specifications for quality control and assurance
  • Managing portions of the full project-plan lifecycle, including budgets, schedules, project updates, plans, trade partners, and tracking performance and completion of key goals
  • Documenting and reporting project progress to stakeholders, preparing agendas and minutes for D&C manager review, and distributing
  • Providing assistance over contracts and subcontracts, including completing templates for contracts and change orders, and assisting the Contracts Coordinator with contracts for various vendors
  • Coordinating efforts across entire projects between Project Managers, designers, architects, and subcontractors
  • Performing small projects in support of larger projects, as well as tenant improvement and routine capital and renovation projects
  • Creating and building various tracking tools as needed
  • Assisting in the completion of project closeout documentation and review
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma - Required
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field - Preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in project administration or coordination - Preferred
Skills

You will be an exceptional communicator, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual with:

  • Proficiency with typical Microsoft tools and a willingness to learn others
  • Skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AIA, DocuSign, and more
