About the Role:

As a Mill Operations Maintenance Leader, you will report directly to the Senior Mechanical General Supervisor within the Mill Department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our operational goals are met while promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the maintenance team in the surface mill to guarantee that tasks are executed accurately, safely, and punctually, minimizing any disruptions to productivity.
  • Conduct daily safety and communication briefings with your team.
  • Lead and manage all mechanical maintenance activities for the mill and paste plant equipment.
  • Support and guide lead hands in organizing crew assignments.
  • Ensure that all team members are trained to operate in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Evaluate work performance to identify training requirements.
  • Supervise and assess team performance against established KPIs, including both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Encourage and mentor all crew members to foster a productive work environment.
  • Review and approve work orders using SAP/S4 Hana.
  • Collaborate with personnel from other departments to effectively plan and schedule maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the revision of programs, procedures, and systems as necessary.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Supervisor Common Core Modules (Surface) and Mill Common Core Modules.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a surface or mill environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule:

This position operates on a 7/7 schedule.
