Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at ATI. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a broad range of mechanical equipment, including rolling mills, annealing furnaces, slitters, conveyors, and mechanical components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, power transmission systems, etc.
You will also be involved in performing maintenance on cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment. To be successful in this role, you will need to quickly learn ATI's manufacturing equipment and systems, as well as our maintenance program.
A successful Mechanical Maintenance Technician is a problem-solver and strong with troubleshooting, determining corrective actions, and identifying opportunities to enhance production efficiencies without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment
- Perform maintenance on cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment
- Learn and implement ATI's manufacturing equipment and systems
- Participate in daily meetings and prioritize work
- Operate various equipment, including trucks, man lifts, cranes, etc.
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least two years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, farming, military, or other industrial environment
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, or other mechanical program
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Effective communication skill with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
