Job Title: Utility Operator

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Position exists as the entry-level hiring rate in a manufacturing plant.
  • Perform general labor tasks as assigned to contribute to production levels.
  • Complete tasks in the safest, most efficient manner as possible.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Demonstrate basic problem-solving skill.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements necessary for the job.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
