Job Summary:

Morris Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate the loader for various aggregate jobs across the company. The successful candidate will assist the aggregate crew in performing duties such as loading materials, digging excavations, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure aggregate piles are neat and properly pushed up to minimize waste and segregation.
  • Load materials, dig excavations, fill excavations, and lift equipment as required.
  • Monitor wear on parts and report any irregularities to the supervisor.
  • Perform daily maintenance on equipment, including greasing, fueling, and checking fuel levels.
  • Keep the feed trap charged and operating efficiently.
  • Assist in operating the crusher when necessary.
  • Help the crusher/wash plant operator monitor the plant's performance.
  • Move dirt, gravel, fill, and dig excavations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
