{"Responsibilities": "As a Control Technician with The Building People, LLC, you will be responsible for providing services related to the retro commissioning and calibration of existing control systems. You will work with project managers and subcontractors to meet project requirements, assisting in calibration, point to point check out, programming, and testing of Direct Digital Control (DDC) building automation and control systems as directed.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining accurate and thorough project documentation and redlines
* Completing sensor calibrations on HVAC control systems
* Completing PID loop tuning on equipment programs to optimize equipment operation
* Assisting with project sub-contractors where needed, specifically test and balance contractors
* Assisting the project team in the engineering of control system hardware and software programming based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents
* Implementing programming, graphics, and sequences of operations for Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems

Requirements:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Previous experience with Niagara 4 workbench software
* Strong analytical skills
* Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
* Thorough understanding of and ability to use appropriate tools, including test equipment to aid in calibration of sensors
* Excellent customer service and ability to work well with others
* Basic understanding of DDC Control Theory and Applications as related to HVAC equipment

Experience/Education:

* At least 1 year of experience with programming, startup and/or commissioning of control systems
* Niagara Ax or N4 certification a plus but not required
* Understanding of installation of controls equipment and ancillary devices/sensors

Physical Requirements:

* Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs
