Job Summary

The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a healthcare facility, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise Certified Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses in multiple clinic locations.
  • Lead clinical staff at a given location, including performance management, employee engagement, staff development, and time and attendance monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select, and train clinical staff in conjunction with Human Resources.
  • Perform annual skills check-offs for all clinical staff.
  • Participate in committees, attend meetings, and engage in continuing education to stay updated on clinical techniques and procedures.
  • Ensure adequate supply levels and equipment, including ordering vaccines and immunizations.
  • Assist the Office Manager with new physician onboarding, including staffing and scheduling.
  • Track and maintain certifications and licensures for clinical staff.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical staffing schedules and arrange for call coverage.
  • Identify and implement processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Adhere to organizational and OSHA safety protocols.
  • Uphold HIPAA and PHI regulations.
  • Be punctual and dependable for assigned shifts.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • LVN licensure required.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.

Physical Requirements

  • Office environment.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, and/or moving up to 8 hours per day.
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds.
