Position Overview:
The Oncology Clinical Nurse Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, patient-focused care within the Oncology department. This position involves overseeing nursing operations during designated shifts, ensuring adherence to established protocols and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate smooth admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
2. Engage in continuous evaluation of patient care services, collaborating with management to enhance quality outcomes.
3. Foster a collaborative environment by working alongside subject matter experts and fellow managers to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
4. Uphold a patient-first philosophy, actively participating in service recovery initiatives when necessary.
5. Support the facility's engagement strategies through initiatives such as employee rounding and hourly checks.
6. Provide input on the recruitment, selection, and training of new nursing staff.
7. Recommend and implement training and development strategies, conflict resolution measures, and performance evaluations to enhance organizational effectiveness.
8. Assist in staff scheduling, ensuring alignment with patient care needs and productivity standards.
9. Manage inventory control and assist in the oversight of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing.
- Chemo Certification preferred.
