Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wax Assembly Specialist to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. As a key member of our wax production department, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality wax components in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare wax patterns to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read and follow assembly work instructions to assemble complex wax components.
  • Inspect assemblies during and after the assembly process for defects and document any issues.
  • Maintain quality and productivity levels/standards.
  • Perform general cleaning of assembly area equipment and tools.
  • Cross-inspect assemblies with other technicians and provide feedback.
  • Process engineering changes to assemblies and aid in training new technicians as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to learn and follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work with hands and possess good eye-hand coordination skills.
  • Ability to work with delicate objects and have patience for fine detail work.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to see fine detail using inspection lights and mirrors.
  • Must be able to use a ruler or scale with accuracy (measurements must be within 1/16").

Salary and Benefits:

This is a competitive salary position, estimated to be around $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
