Cardiac Medicine Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Development Manager to join our team in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing programs for staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities- Design and implement programs for staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with Nurse Directors in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practice in cardiac medicine and surgery.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nursing practice and patient care.
- MSN or MS with a major in Nursing or DNP or PhD with a major in Nursing or a BSN with a Master's degree in a related field.
- Specialty certification in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery required.
- Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse required.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a clinical nurse with demonstrated evidence of leadership progression.
