We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Network Engineer to join our team at Ringside Talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with a focus on delivering high-performance network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks, based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Proactively monitor network performance, identify issues, and resolve network-related problems in a timely manner, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques to minimize network downtime.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control policies, to protect the organization's data and infrastructure from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis, capacity planning, and network optimization activities to ensure efficient and reliable network operations, recommending and implementing network upgrades or enhancements as needed.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, and coordinating with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to implement changes seamlessly.
  • Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with security regulations, industry best practices, and internal guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, IT teams, and stakeholders on network-related matters, conducting training sessions and creating user guides to promote network awareness and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Network Engineer, with a strong understanding of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis techniques to identify and resolve network issues.
  • Familiarity with network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, and access control policies.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
  • Strong knowledge of network virtualization technologies, such as VLANs, VRFs, and virtual switches.
