Job Title: Network Engineer 3/NE3

Infojini is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer 3/NE3 to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in supporting the upgrade and replacement of existing network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, configure, upgrade, and administer hardware and software independently in workstation support, network administration, server administration, business continuity, information security, telecommunications, and network connectivity.
  • Design, install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network equipment, including hubs, network interface cards, LAN cards, hard drives, Ethernet switches, routers, wireless bridges, monitoring devices, access points, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and content devices.
  • Test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software in preparation for new installations or upgrades.
  • Execute changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
  • Function as an enterprise infrastructure expert in maintaining large, disparate systems and networks.
  • Collaborate with network architects and systems managers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Produce technical documentation.
  • Work in field cabinets and potentially inclement weather conditions.
Requirements:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Routing & Switching Certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of network applications, switches, and servers.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and along vehicular traffic.
  • Experience in network cabling systems and fiber optic cabling.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong influence, collaboration, and negotiation experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and functional lines.
  • Excellent oral and written skills and strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Education:

4-year college degree or equivalent technical study or Network Certification or 5 years of relevant experience.
