Ultrasound Supervisor Job Description

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Ultrasound Department, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the Ultrasound Technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality imaging services and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, ensuring that our department remains at the forefront of medical imaging.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • 4 years' experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • ARDMS registered.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
