Ultrasound Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Ultrasound Department, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and quality service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise a team of ultrasound technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and efficient department operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and AdventHealth standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and analyze department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve department operations and patient care.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 4 years' experience as an ultrasound technologist.
- ARDMS registered.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
