About the Role

The Ultrasound Supervisor with initiative and independent judgment performs professional and technical duties for the Ultrasound Department at AdventHealth Tampa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains a program which assures the patient that quality is an integral part of all procedures performed.
  • Responsible for the overall management in the Ultrasound Department.
  • Ability to utilize iCerner-RADNET-EMR, Centricity PACS, (The Picture Archiving and Communication System) US LOGIQ Software.
  • Ability to learn and use basic supervisory skills such as team building, all required HR functions and effective communication.
  • Possess the ability to instruct, guide and mentor the modality staff with a positive, supportive attitude.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 4 years' experience as Ultrasound Technologist.
  • ARDMS registered
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
