Prelude Fertility is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Tampa, FL. As an Ultrasound Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform daily diagnostic ultrasounds, ensuring high-quality scans and meeting the needs of our physicians and department.
- Test Preparation: Prepare for diagnostic tests, setting up the ultrasound machine and reviewing patient charts for previous studies and pertinent information.
- Charge Entry: Input appropriate charges, ensuring medical necessity and adhering to our protocols and standards.
- Physician Support: Ensure physician needs are met, increasing resource utilization and maintaining accreditation standards.
- Exam Procedures: Explain procedures to patients, perform appropriate ultrasound procedures, and assess the need for additional follow-up exams.
- Communication: Notify ordering physicians of abnormal exams before patients leave the office and ensure documentation is obtained.
- Customer Service: Provide superior service, ensuring customer satisfaction for both patients and providers.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and maintain equipment, stock supplies, and maintain rooms in a neat and orderly manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all imaging equipment is up to date with preventative maintenance.
- Certification: Must have valid sonography certification.
- Experience: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with OB/GYN certification, certified in first trimester screening, and 2 years of experience in OB/GYN or fertility practice.
- Certifications: Current BLS certification.
