Culinary Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Professional to join our team at Coeur D'Alene Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals to our residents.
About the Role:
- You will work closely with our Culinary Manager to prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
- You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards.
- You will utilize standardized recipes to prepare menu items and ensure that meals and snacks are delivered to designated areas according to established time schedules.
- You will work cooperatively as a team member with co-workers in all departments of the facility.
Requirements:
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and six months' experience in large quantity food preparation. Experience with therapeutic diet preparation is preferred.
- You must possess knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques, basic nutrition, and food production.
- You must be skilled in communication, patience, and politeness.
- You must be able to read, speak, understand, and communicate effectively in English through verbal and written means.
