Position Overview:

The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements tailored for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Compile and assess financial data to ensure adherence to reporting standards.
2. Execute general accounting functions, including ledger upkeep, reconciliation, and financial statement creation.
3. Accurately record, analyze, and report financial transactions with a focus on integrity.
4. Offer financial insights through forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
5. Prepare statutory accounts and comprehensive financial reports.
6. Investigate accounting regulations and propose updates to company policies.
7. Potentially oversee the work of others and provide coaching to team members.
8. Conduct and document various accounting projects and manage special assignments as required.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and internal policies.

Additional Duties (if necessary):
Manage specific areas such as PIP administration, leases, fixed assets, cash management, rebate accounting, and general ledger oversight.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
- A minimum of four years of experience in accounting or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Lawson or GL accounting software is a plus.
- Understanding of GAAP, ERISA, and tax regulations is advantageous.
