About the Role

The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in the coordination of the team to deliver resident care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and the resident care model on assigned shift.

This position works closely with the Leadership team in maintaining the operations of the facility during assigned shift. The Shift Supervisor fosters change and teamwork within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in the coordination of the team
  • Maintain the operations of the facility during assigned shift
  • Foster change and teamwork within the facility

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • 1 year of experience clinical staff nurse

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • American Nurses Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing upon hire
  • Experience as a Shift Supervisor, or Charge Nurse in Acute or Long-Term Care
