Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community School Site Director to lead and manage the day-to-day activities of our out-of-school time program. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a high-quality youth development program that incorporates our mission, vision, and positioning, as well as contractual requirements and engaging activities for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a high-quality youth development program that meets contractual requirements and engages participants.
  • Collaborate with school principals and administrators to augment attendance and participation, with a focus on student achievement and learning outside the classroom.
  • Represent our organization in community meetings and events, addressing current issues and fostering parental involvement.
  • Develop and utilize systems to track programming progress and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and services that support the schools' goals.
  • Supervise staff and oversee training, developing and implementing education curriculum.
  • Engage and participate in all required trainings.
  • Ensure qualified staff are on duty to meet required ratios during all childcare hours.
  • Ensure compliance with State's qualifications and training requirements for the SACC-License and all Agencies regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, with a preference in Education, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of supervisory and management experience developing and implementing youth programs, staff training, and evaluation.
  • Demonstrate ability in program outreach and recruitment, budgeting, performance-based contracting, and compliance with SACC licensing procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, programming and organizational, verbal and written skills.
  • Broad familiarity with afterschool or community school program standards and requirements.
