We are seeking a Community School Director to support our Community School effort at P12X Lewis and Clark. The Community School Director will be responsible for building collaborative relationships with school staff, students, teachers, families, community members, and service providers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of 5 years of work experience with students with disabilities, and excellent project management skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.

The Community School Director will have the following responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Build collaborative relationships with school, community, and stakeholders; manage the development and coordination of services between the school and AHRC NYC; serve as a primary liaison between school staff, students, teachers, families, community members, and service providers.
  • Project Management: Develop well-designed action plans; manage budgets effectively; participate in identifying resources and linkages in the community for students, families, and staff.
  • Data Driven Decision Making: Identify and integrate key data sources; share data with stakeholders and ensure students receive support.
