Role Overview:
Guidehouse is seeking an eDiscovery Technical Consultant to contribute to our litigation and investigation support services. In today's complex environment, organizations encounter multifaceted challenges that require sophisticated solutions.

Our eDiscovery Technical Consultant will deliver expert eDiscovery Litigation Technical services aimed at establishing a consistent, repeatable, and legally defensible methodology for identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing Electronically Stored Information (ESI) in response to discovery requests.

This role involves acting as a technical authority on electronic discovery applications, assisting attorneys and paralegals in addressing inquiries related to civil and criminal cases, congressional inquiries, FOIA requests, and other investigations.

The consultant will oversee case management within an electronic discovery review and analysis platform, which includes creating cases, managing collected source data, controlling user access rights, uploading data logs, de-duplicating data, identifying data gaps, and coordinating collection results with client stakeholders responsible for processing discovery for review/redaction/release.

Adherence to policies and technical procedures is essential, along with providing training and technical support to agency attorneys, paralegals, and other users of the electronic discovery review platform.

The eDiscovery Technical Consultant will collaborate with the Discovery IT support team on emerging technologies, develop methods for discovering data in new technologies, and recommend process enhancements, such as utilizing Robotic Process Automation to streamline tasks and boost efficiency.


Qualifications:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance is required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing eDiscovery platforms or similar software for the collection of Electronically Stored Information (ESI). Proficiency in Enterprise IT systems, including MS Exchange, file servers, and SharePoint.

Ability to formulate search criteria and/or database queries is essential.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively bridge legal requirements with technical capabilities.


Preferred Qualifications:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance is advantageous.
Experience with ESI collection tools and/or eDiscovery Platforms (such as Clearwell, Relativity, or equivalent) to facilitate the identification, analysis, and production of ESI in support of civil and/or criminal matters is desirable.

Familiarity with the end-to-end lifecycle management of litigation support matters, as well as knowledge of the legal frameworks governing civil and/or criminal electronic discovery practices, is beneficial.

Demonstrated success in collaborating with clients and/or attorneys to advance litigation projects is preferred.

Ability to provide ad hoc support to end users of the electronic discovery review platform repository is important.

Working knowledge in identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI in support of civil litigation, select FOIA requests, congressional inquiries, and other external investigations is required.

Understanding of scripting and automation technologies, such as PowerShell, Python, and RPA, is highly desired.

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions are influenced by various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business needs.
