Position Overview

As an eDiscovery Project Coordinator at Fawkes IDM, you will play a pivotal role in managing the technical aspects of litigation support projects. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive exceptional service and that all project requirements are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main liaison for case teams, ensuring that client expectations are consistently fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with the eDiscovery Senior Project Manager to create and oversee case budget forecasts, focusing on enhancing operational efficiencies and reducing costs.
  • Oversee technical operations with external vendors and temporary staff, ensuring quality assurance across all eDiscovery initiatives.
  • Manage data throughout the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) phases, ensuring compliance with processing standards.
  • Lead the development and execution of internal operational strategies aimed at process enhancement and standardization.
  • Record billable hours and manage invoicing for assigned projects, ensuring accurate billing practices are followed.
  • Monitor and manage deadlines for case teams, client requests, and the progress of work conducted by other departments.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of eDiscovery project plans, including workflows, role assignments, timelines, and process enhancements.
  • Leverage your knowledge of eDiscovery tools, litigation processes, client requirements, and vendor selection to effectively plan and implement IT support for each case.
  • Collaborate with Senior Project Managers to design, maintain, and manage eDiscovery databases and associated data collections.
  • Assist in evaluating new software solutions and operational processes.
  • Identify the training needs of legal teams and implement relevant training programs, while proactively suggesting improvements and identifying gaps in training within the department and case teams.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in eDiscovery or litigation support roles, with a proven track record of managing client relationships independently and working collaboratively with litigation teams.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management or eDiscovery management.
  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing, configuring, and implementing software solutions to meet user requirements.
  • Experience in administering litigation support software (such as Relativity, Everlaw, CaseText, and similar tools), eDiscovery applications, and related technologies to coordinate technical resources for practice group support projects.
