Emergency Medical Technician for Events

Position Overview:

We are seeking qualified Event Emergency Medical Technicians (Event EMTs) to provide exceptional medical care and support to attendees, staff, and local partners at various events. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align event operations with the strategic objectives of CrowdRx.
  • Deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) care in compliance with established medical protocols.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to medical emergencies and safety concerns within the event area.
  • Coordinate patient transport to higher levels of medical care as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate with event personnel and local authorities to relay critical information.
  • Utilize necessary medical equipment and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation related to patient care and responses.
  • Maintain issued uniforms and medical gear, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Stay current with NREMT and state certifications/licenses.
  • Monitor the condition of first aid stations and medical supplies, ensuring everything is in working order.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with reporting times.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Address public health and safety concerns with venue staff and management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • State EMT or Paramedic certification is mandatory.
  • Relevant state certifications.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience as an EMS provider.
  • Preferred: Experience in emergency response situations.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Understanding of special event operations and customer service dynamics.
